Placing an order

By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us at info@paradehome.co.uk before placing an order with us.

This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. A Contract between the customer and Parade Home Ltd for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, and processed (at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods despatched). This does not affect the customer\'s statutory rights.

Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice. Upon receiving your request to purchase, we will endeavour to contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability and stock level including delivery costs. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please see delivery times and charges (below).

Our Policy

We are happy to offer an exchange or credit note on unused goods within 28 days of purchase providing you have a receipt. These goods must be in the condition they left the shop. For unused items with no receipt we will provide an exchange only and we reserve the right to exchange at the lowest sale price (no credit notes). Items purchased outwith 28 days are non-returnable unless faulty.

Clothing & Accessories
We will offer an exchange or credit note on an unworn, undamaged item returned to us within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase, providing all tags are intact and have not been removed. For hygiene reasons we are not able to exchange earrings, lingerie, swimwear, hats, cosmetics, toiletries (including soap/lotions/creams etc).

Any items returned within 28 days of purchase, without a receipt can only be exchanged at the lowest sale price (no credit note). Sale items are non-returnable unless faulty. Please read all garment care labels prior to washing.

Jewellery
We are only able to offer an exchange or credit note on unworn jewellery, that still has all tags intact, returned within 28 days of purchase, providing you have a receipt. Any jewellery item returned without its tag intact will not be accepted (unless faulty), and will be seen as ‘worn’. Jewellery returned within 28 days of purchase, without a receipt can only be exchanged at the lowest sale price (no credit note).


Upholstery & Cabinet Furniture
All our upholstery and cabinet furniture is non-returnable unless faulty. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total goods price must be paid at the time of order. All balances must be paid in full, prior to the delivery of goods, which will not be delivered without payment. No exceptions will be made.

Furniture items in stock and/or purchased from the shop floor must be paid for in full, at the time of order. These items must be delivered within 2 weeks of the order being placed.  Failure to accept delivery may incur a weekly storage charge of £30 unless agreed with Management in advance.

Parade Home Ltd will advise the customer of delivery lead times at the time of order, subject to availability and time of year.  However, many of our items are held in stock and can be delivered straight away. 

Distance Selling
For telephone and online orders (customer not present) you may cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason within seven days following the receipt of the goods (please notify us in writing or email us at info@paradehome.co.uk). If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.

Distance Selling Returns

For all returns (except where the item is faulty), you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. When returning any products to us, please telephone (01569 765997) or email us at info@paradehome.co.uk to let us know.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. We will only refund or provide an exchange for the costs of postage where the item returned is faulty.

Returning Faulty Items

For faulty items you will be required to arrange for the return of the products to us, and we will reimburse your postage costs. All items are individually checked by us prior to dispatch to avoid faulty products being sent. If you are returning a genuine faulty item within 28 days of purchase you are entitled to a full refund. Faulty items purchased after 28 days will be sent back to the manufacture for inspection and no refund will be given without their consent. We may require proof of purchase to validate any claim.

Damaged or faulty clothing, accessories or jewellery

Any resultant damage to clothing due to lack of attention to garment care labels cannot be seen as faulty. We offer a free repair service for faulty jewellery returned to us within a reasonable time.

Damaged or faulty furniture
On delivery of the goods, any damages or defects should be reported immediately, or at least within 48 hours of receiving goods (01569 765997) (info@paradehome.co.uk) We are open 7 days a week.

Payment and taxes
We accept online payment in a secure environment by Paypal, credit or debit card. If paying by credit/debit card, once the order is processed by us, we will telephone you back to confirm the order, confirm availability and take card payment. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.

Delivery (UK ONLY)
All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. Stock permitting, all orders are usually despatched within 24 hours, to arrive with UK customers within five working days.

STANDARD DELIVERY (Royal Mail First Class Recorded)
Cost £4.95 per delivery address. Monday to Friday only. Please allow 5 working days for your delivery.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY (Royal Mail Special Delivery)
Cost £9.95 per delivery address. Monday to Friday only. This guarantees delivery of your order next day, providing your order is received by us before 12 noon. As our gift wrapping takes a little extra time, this service is not available on gift wrapped orders.


Upholstery and cabinet furniture delivery (UK only) 

When placing an order, a deposit of 50% of the total goods price, must be paid. All balances must be paid in full, prior to the delivery of goods.  Parade cannot dispatch goods without payment in full and no exceptions will be made.  All upholstery and cabinet furniture items in stock and/or purchased from the shop floor must be paid for in full, at the time of order. These items must be delivered or collected within 2 weeks of the order.  Sale or discounted items must also be collected/delivered within this timeframe.

Parade will advise the customer of delivery lead times at the time of order, usually a maximum of 12 weeks, subject to availability and time of year, however many of our items are held in stock and can be delivered straight away. Failure to pay the balance or accept the delivery upon receipt of your furniture order may result in a non-refundable storage fee of £30 per week, when delivery is not made within a 3 week period of receipt of goods/balance paid. 

On delivery of the goods, any damages or defects should be reported immediately, or at least within 48 hours of receiving goods (Telephone: 01569 765997 or email us at: info@paradehome.co.uk). We are open 7 days a week.

Parade will try to accommodate all deliveries within the UK, and charges are dependant on the customer\'s location and their vicinity to our branches. At present we cannot deliver outwith the UK.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Specific delivery days and times cannot be agreed at any time in the order process although we do try our hardest to arrange delivery to suit your personal requirements. It is the customer\'s responsibility to ensure that large items will fit into your home, and that there is sufficient access for our van (this can be discussed at time of ordering). We cannot be held responsible for any product that does not fit in the room or place intended, nor will refunds be offered in this instance. Where delivery is deemed high risk for damage to our products or the consumers home we will leave goods at the access point and this will be at the consumers own risk to move and assemble.

Our furniture delivery service includes delivery of your furniture to your home and the removal of all packaging. Due to Health and Safety we are unable to carry furniture upstairs and assembly of items will only be possible, if the item is on the ground floor. We will not attempt deliveries where damage to your property may occur nor will we remove doors or windows.

20 mile radius furniture deliveries

We charge £30.00 for deliveries within a 20 mile radius of any of our branches.  Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery, depending on the order placed and our stock levels.

40 mile radius furniture deliveries

We charge £40.00 for deliveries within a 40 mile radius of any of our branches.  Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery, depending on the order placed and our stock levels.

don\'t want to pay delivery?

Customers are welcome to collect items themselves.  Please beware you are responsible for the pick up, transport and access to your building.  You will receive notification of the expected delivery date and confirmation that your items have arrived.  You are expected to collect your items in a timely fashion within 5 days of the delivery date. Some items of furniture might also require assembly and this will be the customers responsibility.

Conformity of goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

Disclaimer and limitations of liability
Parade Home Ltd does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members agents directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.

While Parade Home Ltd takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.

Further, Parade Home Ltd will not be responsible nor liable for your use of any other websites which you may access via links within this website. Parade Home Ltd does not control these websites and is not responsible for their content. Any such links are provided merely as a service to users of this website and their inclusion in this website does not constitute an endorsement by or affiliation with Parade Home Ltd.

Parade Home Ltd will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.
